Mike Vick
In the US, cruelty to animals is punishable by imprisonment. Mike Vick will serve time in prison for partaking in cruelty to animals, specifically, for engaging in dog fights.
We understand that the culture Vick was raised promotes dog fighting and he believed that act to be acceptable. He will serve time for that act and we ask that individuals in society accept the term he was given and forgive him upon release.
Vick told reporters after his hearing, "I accepted the responsibility for my actions and what I did and now I have to pay the consequences for it, but, in a sense, I think it will help me as a person. I have a lot to think about in the next year or so."
We hope that Vick takes the time to better himself while incarcerated. Cruelty to animals is not acceptable, but we offer our forgiveness too.

Maybe Vick should just stay in jail. He hurt too many dogs!
Do unto others...
Forgiving and allowing Vick to move forward is what we hope for everyone.
